One of my all time favorite hikes has to be Colchuck Lake, which is part of the Enchantments area within the Alpine Lakes Wilderness in Washington. Not only is the lake bright turquoise, it is also surrounded by incredible rock formations. I hope this painting gives you the same feeling of awe that I had taking in this absolutely breathtaking view.
